Black Panther's production company is Marvel Studios- which is a subsidiary under the conglomerate The Walt Disney Company. The movie is deemed to be successful because it is produced under one of the worlds biggest character based entertainment companies.

Key characters in the movie consist of Michael B Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o and Daniel Kaluuya.
Daniel Kaluuya is a new success in the film industry in which he first gained international recognition after his starring in the horror film Get Out in 2017. Because of his recent success he is a new, fresh face who everyone is familiar with so he gives Black Panther a modern, current look to it. The movie therefore comes across as more appealing due to one of its credible stars, Kaluuya.
Lupita Nyong'o rose as a star when she was feautured in the film 12 Years a Slave in 2013. This too like Black Panther is wholly a black based movie and therefore she is now known for starring in black movies and being a very prominent black actress, something that the filming industry lacks.
Michael B Jordan is credible as he has been in the acting industry for a very long time - starting with the movie Black and White (1999) so he most definitely is sure of what he is doing as his great acting has come through experience.
Black Panther's budget was $200 million dollar which was largely spent on the set and casting. The Kingdom of Wakanda, where the superhero lead of Black Panther makes his home is a utopia. Dispensed in rich colours and African tradition, the fictional country is wealthy beyond measure, thanks to a supply of major Marvel mineral Vibranium, and has used its resources and technological advancements to craft spaceships, superconductors and skyscrapers as tall as your dreams. Due to the many credible and well-known cast members, the price for casting would have come to a substantial amount.
Black Panther relied on grass root events for marketing. When SuCh Charles, a singer from Denver saw the Black Panther trailer she was touched to organise an event which brought Denver's black community together. The screening she organised was just 1 of a 100 grass root events organised by black filmgoers for the opening of the historic film. New York recently created the #BlackPantherChallenge with the aim of raising $10,000 through a GoFundMe Page to benefit the boys and girls club of harlem. Within days, the goal had been surpassed raising more than $40,000 to send 200 kids to see the movie. There now have been over 200 campaigns to raise money for underprivileged black kids to watch the black dominated movie in theatres so that black culture can be celebrated and applauded in a way that is rarely seen.
Black Panther licensed products are to be released by companies such as Hasbro, LEGO, Funko and many more. There's also been a new comic book written by the author Ta-Nehisi Coates and was released April 6, and the superhero made its first cinematic debut in the film Captain America: Civil War which hit cinemas in May. This also acts as a form of advertising for the movie.
Marvel studios are unveiling a partnership with Lexus on its Black Panther with the automakers 2018 Lexus LC being featured in the film. The two companies kicked off the partnership with an invite-only party at San Diego Comic-Con with a performance from DJ Lulo Cafe. As you can see it can be called a 'partnership extravaganza.'
Because of Disney's authoritative and professional status, it is an asset to Black Panther and has contributed to a lot of its credibility.
